Ken Block somehow managed to make some time from his busy schedule as a brand director of DC Shoes and a full time WRC rally driver, he released a new Gymkhana video, the official name is "Ken Block’s Gymkhana THREE: Part 1; The Music Video Infomercial (feat. We’ve all seen his trademarked mohawk at SEMA parties, Gumball 3000 parties and clubs in Hollywood.  Between him and his partner, they pretty much have everything from Maybach to Lamborghini.  But people don’t know what he does or where he comes from.  Kenta, a managing editor of Tokyo Drive Magazine and a long time friend, interviewed him for the first time.

Ken's New Whip

 

I just received an email from Ken with some images of his new rally car and a video.  

Just take a look at the pictures and the video below. 

Ken definitely is bringing extreme sports players(skateboarders, snowboarders, etc,) and the people from the street that didnt care about traditional motorsports into rally racing.  The car looks great, including the graphic with street culture feel to it.  Only Ken could do something like this.

Kenからメールが。　添付ファイルは写真二枚とYouTubeのビデオ。　とりあえず、写真とビデオを観て。　DC Shoes創設者であり、スノボーはプロ級、ラリードライバーとしても頭角をあらわしたKenの、WRC参戦マシン。　

Kenに関してはすごいことがあり過ぎて、何から書けばいいのか。　とりあえず、世界最大（級？）のスケートシューズブランドを立ち上げただけでもすごいのに、スバルワークスドライバーとしてアメリカのラリーシリーズに参戦、入賞。　さらに今年からは世界最高峰のラリーシリーズであるWRCに出ちゃうんだから。　しかもFordで。　普通の人の何倍も人生楽しんでるんだろうねぇ。　

で、車両もカッコいい。　今までラリーをはじめとする伝統的モータースポーツに見向きもしなかったエクストリームスポーツ好きも、これを機会にきっとラリーにも興味を持つんじゃないかともう。　スポーツをしないストリートな連中もカッコいいと思ってくれるグラフィックじゃないかなぁと。　　DaytonaでもAxel Speedでも、何度も取材させてもらってるKen。　どんどんパワーアップしてるね。
